Here we go. A nice little spot to muse over the happenings of recent days, and hopefully a spot where we can keep in touch a bit while i'm on the road. The road to where? Everywhere, nearly. August 15th i head up with Spurt to begin Youth Encounter. i can't wait! Your prayers and encouragement are appreciated! We'll spend the fall up until Christmas traveling the States, being hosted by various congregations and other organizations, helping with their youth ministry. From January to May we will serve throughout W. Africa. Know any French anyone? And May-August of '09 my teammates and i will serve w/ the other international teams at a summer camp, helping w/ youth leadership and cross cultural ministry/education programs. The purpose in all of the this? To partner with Christian communities to strengthen their youth ministry. Translation? Share Christ's love with everyone we meet. i'm so excited!
